Selected many times as one of the best chefs in the world,Michel Bras has created his own style of cuisine, inspired by the beautiful nature of his homeland of Aubrac in South central France. There, he opened his restaurant in Le Suquet, Laguiole, and was rated three stars in the Michelin Guide in 1999. In 2002, he opened with his son Sébastien a second restaurant in Hokkaido, Japan. Today, the father handed over the BRAS Le Suquet restaurant to his son, but still continues to collaborate over the menu. In 2014, he opened a brasserie inside the Soulages Museum in Rodez,France.
